Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium Funding
Pupil Premium is additional government funding provided to schools to help reduce the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. The funding is allocated for pupils who are eligible for free school meals now or have been in the past six years, children who are looked after or previously looked after, and children from families with a member in the armed forces.
At our school, we use Pupil Premium funding strategically to ensure that eligible pupils receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. This includes targeted academic interventions, enrichment opportunities, pastoral support and measures that promote high attendance and wellbeing. We rigorously monitor the impact of our approach and review our spending plans annually to ensure that our provision is both effective and evidence-based.
Our Inclusion Lead is Paul Harris - pharris@kingsacre-primary.devon.sch.uk
