The School Song
The school song has always been an important part of Kingsacre’s tradition and ethos. It is thought that the first verse of the song is a poem/prayer “The School Creed” of an unknown school in Canada.
This was then taken and developed into Kingsacre’s school song with a second verse and music added by Keith Kerslake (Parent/Musician)

This is our school,
Let Peace dwell here,
Let the room be full of contentment.
Let love abide here,
Love of one another,
Love of mankind,
Love of life itself
And love of God.
Let us remember
That as many hands build a house,
So many hearts make our school.
This is the place where we can learn the ways of life
The little mysteries that bring us close to one another.
The daily lessons of companionship,
The memories,
The lifelong friends we hope to make.
And so we share a life together,
It’s more than just a building.
