Personal, Social and Emotional Development - Building Relationships and Self- Regulation
PSHE at Kingsacre underpins every aspect of life in the EYFS. It supports children in understanding themselves and others, developing relationships, and learning the values that create a positive and inclusive community.
Children are encouraged to express their feelings, manage their emotions, and understand the feelings of others. Through stories, play, and discussion, they learn about friendship, fairness, kindness, and taking turns.
Our environment promotes independence and responsibility, giving children opportunities to make choices, solve problems, and take pride in their achievements. Teachers model positive relationships and support children in developing confidence and resilience.
At Kingsacre, PSHE nurtures the whole child. We aim for our children to leave the EYFS as kind, confident, and curious individuals who care for themselves and others, ready for the next stage of their learning journey.
